My name is Tola Thach. I am half Vietnamese and half Cambodian, born and raised in South Auckland. I live with both my parents and my younger brother Chivon who is still a current student at Southern Cross Campus.
I attended Southern Cross Campus from Year 1 to Year 13, where I had the privilege to serve our school and community as a school prefect for 2017. I am currently in my last year studying at AUT completing my Bachelor of Design majoring in Interation Design (UX/UI Design). Once I graduate, my goal is to become a User Experience Designer for companies and help improve the interactions between the user and the product.
I currently work for AUT South Campus under the Office of Pacific Advancement as a Graphic Designer/Motion Designer, where I was involved with events like UniPrep (which has a large intake each year of SCC students) and the Hugh Jackman visit to AUT. My job involves capturing and creating experiences for the people involved in the network through photographic and visual communication design practices.
